Every stitch
placed by hand.
Our workshop in East London operates a single shift, six days a week. Each pair takes four days from hide to finished boot. The waxed linen thread used for our triple-stitch welt is the same weight used in Victorian coachwork — it doesn't break, it outlasts the leather.

Six layers of intention.
Zero compromises.

Full-Grain Calf Upper
All tiersSourced from a 4th-generation Northamptonshire tannery. Minimum 3mm thickness. Creases with wear, never cracks.
Antiqued Brass Hardware
Sanctum + ReliquaryCast solid brass, hand-tumbled with steel shot for 6 hours to achieve the tarnished cathedral finish. No plating.
Goodyear Welt Construction
All tiersThe welt is stitched, not glued. Resoleable indefinitely. This is the construction that makes a boot last 20 years.
Cork & Leather Midsole
Reliquary only: Double layerCompressed cork molded to your foot over the first 30 wears. The Reliquary Edition adds a second leather layer.
Vibram® Sole Unit
Reliquary: Morflex 40148mm Vibram rubber. Oil-resistant, rated to -40°C. The Standard uses Vibram 2060; Reliquary gets the 4014 Morflex.
The difference is in the layers
The Reliquary Edition adds the double cork midsole and the Vibram Morflex 4014 sole unit — the two components that define a boot's lifespan.
Built for the
night that matters.
Club kids building an outfit from the floor up. Theater costumers who need the silhouette to hold on stage under 2000-watt lamps. Elder goths who've worn through three pairs of mass-market boots and refuse to do it again.
Crypt boots are built to be worn. The leather darkens with rain and softens with heat. The sole grips cobblestones and concrete equally. The buckles don't catch on anything you don't want them to.
"The leather creaks like a cathedral door. That's not a defect. That's the sound of something real."
— Margot V., Reliquary owner since 2021
Custom leather, hardware & sole combinations

Three silhouettes.
One decision.
The same last, the same pattern, the same workshop — differentiated by the materials we reach for and the hours we put in. Compare them honestly.
